    SVST Update + Parent Orientation Follow-up

    Hi SVST Families,

    Thank you to everyone who joined our in-person parent orientation and for a great start to the swim season! We’re two days in and already off to a fantastic start. Below are a few updates and important action items:

    👕 Merchandise (Action Required)

    • All swimmers must complete the merchandise form — even if you are not purchasing items — so we have the correct size for the free team t-shirt.

    • NEW: Youth Small size has been added.
      • If you’ve already ordered and would like to switch sizes, email [email protected] with:
        • Parent name
        • Ordered sizes/quantities that you would like to exchange
        • Desired Youth Small quantity
    • Don’t forget to order parent shirts, tanks, hats, and visors to wear at meets and cheer on your swimmer!
    • Deadline to order: May 5

    🏊 Equipment

    • If you still need to purchase practice equipment (practice suit, practice cap, goggles, fins, kickboard, mesh bag), reach out to Texas Swim Shops and let them know you're with Spring Valley Swim Team at DADS Club.
    • They can help with sizing and make sure you have everything your swimmer needs for practice.

    Thank you for your cooperation with our new parking guidelines. Your help ensures a safe and smooth experience for all families.

    📅 What to Look Forward To

    • May 15 – Time Trials Meet
      • Check-in: 4:45 PM
      • Warm-ups: 5:00 PM
      • Meet start: 5:30 PM
      • Texas Swim Shops will be onsite selling team swimsuits (new style this year!) — a great opportunity to get fitted and ready for the season.
    • Monday, May 18 – Picture Day
      • Time: 5:00–7:00 PM
      • Team photo at 5:45 PM (all swimmers)
      • Swimmers should wear their new team suit
